Statesboro High School is a public high school located in the city of Statesboro in the US state of Georgia. The current principal is Dr. Martin Waters.[2]
Statesboro High School is currently part of the Georgia High School Association AAAA athletic division. Its varsity teams include football, basketball, track and field/cross country, baseball, soccer, tennis, swimming, and marching band. It has won five state football championships: 3 in the Georgia High School Association A athletic division (1956, 1957, 1966) and 2 in the Georgia High School Association AAAAA athletic division (2001, 2005)[3]; two state basketballs championships (1968, 1991)[4]; and one state track championship (1961).[5]
